Meet Pastor Tom and Melissa

Pastor Tom Cooke holds a Graduate of Theology degree from Ambassador Baptist College. He and his wife, Melissa, were married November 6, 1970, and have shared a deep passion for serving the spiritual needs of our nation's military men and women. They teamed up with Armed Forces Baptist Missions in 2008. Through this partnership, they were called by the LORD to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO, where in April of 2009 Pastor Tom became the founding pastor of Emmanuel Independent Baptist Church located near Fort Carson.

Prior to their ministry in Colorado, Pastor Tom served churches in Ohio and West Virginia, preaching and providing help. He also served as a deacon in his sending church in North Carolina, demonstrating his commitment to serving the Lord and His people.

Pastor Tom and Melissa have dedicated their lives to serving the Lord with joy, humility, and obedience.
